Appealing to all concerned to return the phone to the owner and stop threatening innocent people, RK Tharaksana said that they, the mothers, stand in solidarity with RK Ichanthoi.
She also asked all concerned to understand what would happen to 'our society' if all people started using brute force to get what they want.
People of Manipur have been undergoing tremendous hardship for over 18 months due to the crisis in Manipur, she said while asking all concerned to stop targeting the already suffering people.
She also said that the mothers of COCOMI won't remain silent if such unruly behaviour is not stopped.
Stating that women are being held in high regard in Manipur society, RK Tharaksana maintained that COCOMI will always stand against people who could not see women as their sisters or mothers.
Continuing that RK Ichanthoi has been helping the fellow Meeteis at her capacity all these times and reaching out to village volunteers who guard Meetei villages, she further appealed to all concerned to stop threatening RK Ichanthoi and also return her phone.
