Sharda discusses poll strategies with BJP stalwarts

BJP State unit president A Sharda Devi, who is camping at the National Capital, has discussed strategies for the forthcoming Assembly elections and other issues with the party's National president JP Nadda and other prominent leaders, today.
During the meeting at the party's office at New Delhi this noon, Sharda Devi apprised JP Nadda of the Covid situation in Manipur and the measures taken up by the State Government and the party workers to arrest the virus spread.
According to an official report received from the BJP State unit office, A Sharda Devi also discussed strategies to strengthen the BJP State unit to ensure victory in the 2022 Assembly elections.

After the meeting with JP Nadda, A Sharda also interacted with the Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel; Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve and Union Minister of State for Textiles Darshana Jardosh and urged them to provide maximum assistance in carrying out developmental works in the State.
According to the source, the BJP State unit president also took suggestion from BJP National secretary (organisation) BL Santhosh; National vice president of BJP Mahila Morcha, Pooja Devi; BJP National spokesperson Sambit Patra, who is the in-charge of BJP, Manipur and other prominent leaders to strengthen the State unit of the saffron party.
Sharda left for Delhi on July 11 to meet Central leaders and thank them for inducting Dr RK Ranjan in the Union Council of Ministers and to discuss strategies for the upcoming Assembly elections, for which Manipur will go to polls in 2022.Meanwhile, it is reported that JP Nadda will likely visit Manipur somewhere in the middle of August for poll related activities.
