Imphal, October 10 2016: Protesting kidnapping of as Sorokhaibam Rameshor from a work site at Tuichin Village under Saikul block by miscreants, locals of Nongdam Village along the Imphal Ukhrul road today block road putting halt to all sort of traffic along the route.

The locals also demanded immediate released of the workers kidnapped by armed persons. Mentioned may be made that armed group KCP-Poirei Meitei Lup has yesterday claimed responsibility about the kidnapping of S.Rameshwar stating that he was kidnapped as the contractor Poireihanba had challenged the party and failed to turn up to the party's called.
