The bag contained eatables and a mobile phone battery charger.
However, it cannot be confirmed whether the bag belonged to the murdered woman or not.
Police have picked up the corpse and deposited it at RIMS morgue.
Meanwhile, Women Action for Development (WAD) has strongly condemned the brutal murder.
WAD secretary Subita Mangshatabam said that crimes against women have been increasing every year despite all the efforts to check them.
Main reasons for this disturbing trend is letting the criminals go scotfree and absence of any effective mechanisms of the State to check
such crimes.
Some time back a woman was murdered at Pallel.
