Govt cautions against misinformation

Imphal, October 31 2019:
Even as speculations are doing the round on the possible fallout of the Indo-Naga peace talk, the Government of India has categorically stated that 'lots of rumours and misinformation are being spread on the social media.' In a statement, PIB Government of India said "this is creating anxiety and concern in some parts of the country".
It is clarified that before any settlement is arrived at with Naga groups, all stakeholders including States of Assam, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh will be duly consulted and their concerns will be taken into consideration, added the statement.
