Training program concludes

A 3-day training programme on Post-Harvest Technology sponsored by the Department of Bio-Technology concluded today at KVK, Senapati, reports our correspondent.
The programme was organized by Amity International Centre for Post Harvest Technology and Cold Chain Management, (AICPHT& CCM), Amity University, Noida in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Hengbung, Senapati.
Naga Laxmi M Raman, Assistant Director, Amity University and Dr Vigya Mishra, Assistant Professor, Amity University were the resource persons during the valedictory programme.
A two-minute silence was also observed as a mark of respect to late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
About 30 rural youths from the district participated in the training programme where a short session was devoted to feedbacks and interaction with the participants.
During the programme, Dr BS Hansra, Professor, AICPHT& CCM, Amity University advised the participants to take up home scale entrepreneurial activities in order to generate additional income.
