Imphal, December 29 2021: Intending candidate from Uripok AC, Khwairakpam Raghumani has promised to develop Lamphel Pat (lake) as a tourist spot.

Khwairakpam Raghumani, IAS (retd), made the remark while attending a political meeting held at the residence of Loitongbam Loken at Khwai Singjubung today organised by Khwai Singjubung Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, Kh Raghumani said if he is elected as representative of Uripok AC, he will work towards successful implementation of Lamphel Pat Water Body Project, development of Uripok AC as a whole, improving the economy of the people of the AC and for the betterment of education system.

Development of Lamphel Pat will attract tourist and provide employment opportunity to numerous uneployed youths of the State, he added.

He also talked in length about the various areas in which Uripok AC is lagging behind as compared to other ACs despite being at zero mile from the capital city.
