'Repairing and black topping of roads of Mayang Imphal is in progress' : Robindro

Imphal, December 29 2020: The black topping of streets of Phoubakchao Khok Makhong located at polling station number 23/33 and 23/34 of Mayang Imphal Assembly Constituency is being carried out under the supervision of Deputy Speaker and MLA of the Constituency, Kongkham Robindro.

Kongkham Robindro along with officials of BJP Minority Morcha Imphal West visited the site and inspected the progress of the work today.

Speaking to media persons, Robindro assured that the black topping of the roads of Mayang Imphal AC will be done in a phase wise manner.

Black topping of the streets of Bengool have already been started and he has included many work programs in the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) and Works Department to construct and repair the other roads as well.

He further stated that the repairing of the road from Sekmaijin till Komlakhong will begin soon under PMGSY.

Lauding the efforts of the MLA for repairing the major roads of Phoubakchao, president of BJP Minority Morcha Imphal West, Md Islamuddin said that Kongkham Robindro is fulfilling his promise which he made before the election to make Mayang Imphal a well developed Constituency by carrying out many developmental programs within a short span of time and added that Robindro is a good representative who treats everyone equally.
