Swachhata Hi Seva activities witness active participation

Thoubal, September 26 2023: In Thoubal district, students are enthusiastically participating in various Swachhata Hi Seva activities held in different educational institutions.

Lilong Municipal Council under Swachhta Hi Sewa 2023 action programme organised Slogan competition at Islamic Baby English School, Lilong.

A Swachhta pledge ceremony of teachers and students was also held at the school today in the presence of the Executive Officer of Lilong Municipal Council.

He also gave the message of Swachhta Hi Seva to the students of Lilong Haoreibi College and distributed citation awards.

A painting competition was also held at the college today.

The Council also conducted cleanliness activity at Lilong Alia Makha, Ward No 1 and social service and tree plantation programme at public pond of Ward No 5 at Lilong Haoreibi Turel Wangma.

Both children and adults are actively participating in the cleanliness movement in the district.

The District Administration Thoubal has been meticulously planning daily activities involving volunteers and students taking center stage.

Cleanliness drive was held today at the 3rd IRB complex, Khangabok led by the CO of 3rd IRB in collaboration with Thoubal Municipal Council.

Meanwhile, officers and staff of the District Supply Officer today conducted a cleanliness drive at Fair price shop centres at Wangjing Tentha Assembly Constituency while Thoubal PHE Division conducted a cleanliness drive at Leishangthem Water Supply System.
