TET certificates to last for lifetime

Imphal, August 26 2021: The State Government has extended the validity period of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Certificate of the State for life time and has adopted CTET in the Manipur for appointment of the teacher for classes (I to V) and classes (VI to VIII) with the lifetime validity of the CTET passed certificate with effect from February 11, 2011 .

The same was informed in an order has issued by Joint Secretary of SCERT, T Manihar Singh on behalf of the Governor and it further informed that those TET certificates issued by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) for which validity period of 7 years has elapsed is now again revalidated for life time with retrospective effect from the date of enforcement of TET guideline i.e February 11, 2011 .
