Exhibition cum sale mela concludes

Ukhrul, November 25 2016: Local handcrafted wooden items including tables, side tables, decorative pieces etc attracted the visitors in the exhibition cum sales mela organised by NERCORMP at TNL ground, reports Mungchan Zimik.

DC Pradip Chandren who attended the valedictory function as the chief guest, appreciated the farmers of Ukhrul for showcasing their organic produce and said their hard work is highly commendable.

The chief guest also distributed certificates to all the participants of the event.

A brief report was delivered by Ningreingam BDO, NERCORMP, Ukhrul.

According to his reports, food items and other local made products worth over Rs 25 lakh were sold.

Among the stalls, Shomi NaRMG Association sold maximum products like local fishes, rice, sesame seeds and processed organic food products.

Kamtha NaRMG Association and Chirmi SHG won the second and third position respectively.
