Imphal, August 25 2019: Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) cum president of BJP, Manipur Pradesh, K Bhabananda Singh has condoled the untimely demise of Arun Jaitley, former Union Minister on August 24 at AIIMS, New Delhi.

He was a good human being with considerable talent and knowledge and his death has left a void that will be hard to fill in years to come, said the MP.

Stating that the loss of Arun Jaitley is not confined to the BJP alone but also to the whole Nation, Bhabananda offered sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family members.

Works Minister Th Biswajit Singh has also condoled the demise of Arun Jaitley.

In his demise, the country has lost an efficient, experienced and a leader who was seen as the Prime Minister's go to man during Narendra Modi Government's first term in office, the Minister added.

Maintaining that Arun Jaitley was a lawyer by profession, Th Biswajit continued that the former Union Minister had also served in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cabinet.

May his soul rest in peace, Biswajit prayed.
