Imphal, September 24 2020: The awareness campaign against illicit ganja cultivation and drug use in Manipur which started from September 15 came to an end today with a meeting at 1st MR Banquet Hall.

The meeting was chaired by DGP LM Khaute and attended by other senior police officers.

Village representatives from Senapati, Kamjong, Chandel, Tengnoupal, Churachandpur, Ukhrul and Bishnupur district also attended the meeting.

A discussion was held on containment of drug use and poppy cultivation in the State at the meeting.

The DGP also appealed to the people present to work together against drug use and poppy cultivation for the future generation.
