Annual training camp of NCC concludes

Imphal, September 24 2017: The 10 days Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-V) conducted from September 13 by Manipur Bn NCC, NCC Group HQ, Imphal came to an end on 22 September 22, said a press release of PIB Defence .

A total of 311 cadets from 14 colleges and 23 schools from different parts of the State took part in the camp.

The cadets participated in different activities like trg, lectures on various pressing current issues and also put through various competitions .

Retired Lt Gen KH Singh who is now the Chairman of Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) delivered a motivational talk to the cadets.

An awareness rally on cleanliness as part of "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" was organised by the NCC Gp on September 17 in which around 1100 cadets participated .

A cultural programme was also showcased by the Cadets on September 21 which was widely appreciated.

Brig Vivek Sharma, VSM, Gp Cdr NCC Gp HQ, Imphal, gave away number of prizes to meritorious cadets and complimented the cadets and staff of 14 (M) Bn NCC, Imphal for successful completion of CATC-V and achieving all its objective despite of inclement weather and other constraints, according to the release.
