Imphal, June 24 2016 : Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has said that Nagaland Board of School Education has deleted the blunder made about Manipur's State flower Shirui Lily in NBSE's text book for Class IX and X .

In a statement, KSA said that it was earlier published in the text book that 'Shirui Lily is found only in the Shirui mountain of Nagaland' .

The students' body launched a stir against this mistake some time back.

As a result, NBSE has deleted the mistake in the latest edition of the text book, KSA said.

The students' body thanked MLAs L Ibomcha and Dr I Ibohalbi for taking up the matter in the State Assembly after KSA's request.

KSA also thanked Board of Secondary Education, Manipur for communicating the matter with NBSE.
