Tbl/Tml/ Kak, January 24 2020: In view of the upcoming 71st Republic day celebration, a full dress rehearsal which began on January 22 ended today at lower ground Tamenglong District Headquarters.

The parade which started from Jadonang park proceeded towards IB, Bazar and concluded at the Tamenglong lower ground.

Around 20 parade contingents took part in the full rehearsal, including, police personnel, schools and colleges students, ASHA team, cultural group, band parties, scouts and guides etc.

A large number of crowd turned up to witness the full dress rehearsal.

The district will also observe Republic day at the sub-division level.

Thoubal: A full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day 2020 was also held today at Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School, Thoubal.

Altogether 47 contingents took part in the rehearsal today.

The Republic Day celebration for the district will be held at Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School, Thoubal.

Kakching: Similar rehearsal was also held for Kakching District at the playground of District Sports Association (DSA), Kakching, today.

Altogether 27 parade contingents turned up for the full dress rehearsal.
