Imphal, December 23 2017: Social Welfare and Co-operation Minister Nemcha Kipgen has conveyed her heartfelt greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Christmas Day .

She urged the people to remember and celebrate the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and pray for his teachings to inspire the people to contribute for the welfare of the society .

MPCC President TN Haokip and Ex-Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam also conveyed warm greetings to the people of the State, specially the Christian community, on the joyous occasion of Christmas .

They prayed that the festival may bring peace, harmony and prosperity to the State .

Spokesperson of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Manipur State Unit, N Ibohal Meitei conveyed his warm greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Christmas and wished that the festival may bring peace and harmony among the various communities of the State .

Secretary of Manipur State Council CPI, Dr M Nara Singh also conveyed his warm greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Christmas .

On the other hand, the Komrem Union, North East India, has wished merry Chirstmas to all the people of the State and prayed that the almighty may bless the people of the State with peace, joy, love, communal harmony and prosperity with the coming of Christmas and New Year .

The Spring Charitable Trust also extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of Christmas .

It also extended warm wishes to the people and prayed that the New Year may bring prosperity to the State .

The All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) also conveyed warm wishes to the people of the State, specially the Christian community, on the auspicious occasion of Christmas .

It also appealed to all the shopkeepers as well as the passenger vehicles to refrain from increasing the price of the goods and services.
