KWU & HR Moreh celebrates silver jubilee

Tengnoupal, November 21 2019: The Kuki Women Union and Human Rights, Moreh celebrated Silver Jubilee today at Hill Tribal Council campus.

Former president of KWU & HR, Chinneivah Haokip and president HTC, Joseph Ginkhosei Lhungdim attended the event.

Chinneivah Haokip unveiled the Silver Jubilee stone.

Speaking at the event, Chinneivah Haokip said that the Kuki Women Union & Human Rights Moreh was established in 1994 to safeguard women's rights.

A souvenir was also released by HTC president Ginkhosei Lhungdim.

Tinthang Haokip, president KSO Moreh Block; Hauzalala, president Moreh Youth Club; Rev Ngamhao Touthang, chairman Moreh Pastor Fellowship; Sh Jamkholen Mate, chairman Kuki Chief Association Moreh Block attended the programme as special guests.

Large number of women including former leaders of KWU & HR Moreh, and CSO leaders too attended the 25th anniversary celebration.

Memento and gifts were also presented to HTC leaders and former president, secretary and central executive members.
