Ration quota under NFSA and PMGKAY for Ukhrul district spelt out

Imphal, August 21 2021: The share of rice ration under National Food Security Act (NFSA) and Prime Minister Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) for Ukhrul district is 8,15,725 kgs per month.

According to an official report from CAF&PD, Ukhrul district, which has two constituencies, will be getting 4,33,795 kg per month under NFSA and 3,81,930 kg per month under PMGKAY.

Ukhrul Assembly Constituency has 11,120 PHH ration card holders and 1274 AAY ration card holders and the constituency is getting 2,35,825 kg per month under NFSA and 2,11,530 kg per month under PMGKAY.

Total beneficiaries under AAY and PHH is 42,312.Chingai Assembly Constituency, on the other hand, has 9586 PHH ration card holders and 1361 AAY ration card holders and the constituency is getting 1,97,970 kg under NFSA and 1,70,370 kg under PMGKAY every month.

The constituency has a total beneficiary of 76,386 .

It is noteworthy to remember that under NFSA all PHH card holders are given 5 kg of rice per month per family member and AAY ration card holders are given 35 kg of rice at the price decided by the Government while under PMGKAY, all ration card holder are given 35 kg per month per card holder.
