Skill development training with job placement programme to be held

Bishnupur, July 21 2024: The Department of Information Technology, Govt of Manipur in association with M/S HCL Tech will be conducting a skill development training with job placement programme called 'HCL TechBee Manipur' in IT Sector for students who have completed Class XII in 2023/2024 .

A notification by Lourembam Bikram IAS Deputy Commissioner/Chairman of District e-Govemance Society (DeGS) Bishnupur informed that the counselling cum examination for recruitment will be conducted on July 23, 2024 at ECHEL Computers, Bishnupur Ward no 4 from 11 am onwards.

It further informed that the Government of Manipur will provide a subsidy of Rs 50, 000 against the training fees for the selected candidates from Manipur and loan facility is also available for the remaining amount.

The eligibility criteria for the said programme are as follows - Students who have completed Class XII in 2023/2024 with overall 65 percent or more in Class XII under Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) or overall 70 percent under CBSE/ISC Board.

Candidates who have scored 60 percent or more marks in Mathematics/Business Mathematics are eligible for IT roles and candidates with no mathematics background are eligible for Associate roles (Non-IT), said the notification.
