Imphal, October 20 2016: The closing function of the 6th batch of the academic session of Kangleipak Academy of Ritual & Narrative Arts was held today at Lainingthou Sanamahi complex, 1st MR Compound.

The programme was graced by Dr K Sushila, Director, Arts and Culture, Leishangthem Raghumani, vice president, Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board, Nongthombam Mera Mangang, president, Kangleipak Piba Puwari Liba Apunba Lup, Yanglem Ibomcha, president, Umang Lai Kanba Lup and Chanam Nabachandra, member, Umang Lai Kanba Kanba Lup as presidium members.

Speaking at the programme, Dr K Sushila said that organising such event for the youth is a commendable step.

Not only will it help the youth to understand the history of the community structure, its existence and culture but also enable them to contribute in cultural heritage preservation.
