TSA organises mock test

Kangpokpi, January 20 2020: To eradicate practising unfair means during examinations in Kangpokpi District, the Thadou Students' Association-GHQ organised mock test for students appearing this year HSLC examination, today.

The mock test was conducted under the theme, "For a better tomorrow; alert today, alive tomorrow" in four different places such as LM English School, Saparmeina; Baptist English High School, Motbung; HM Higher Secondary School, Keithelmanbi and KT Higher Secondary School, Kangpokpi DHQs under Saitu-Gamphazol Sub Division, Champhai Sub Division and Kangpokpi District Headquarters.

Altogether 500 students from thirteen different institutions participated in the test; Michael Lamjathang, general secretary, TSA-GHQ while speaking to media persons at KT Hr Sec School, said that HSLCE is the stepping stone and first big examination for any student to begin their career.

Continuing that such initiative of TSA is also aimed at bringing quality educatiori in the district, he sought cooperation and support, especially from the private educational institutions and the general public of Kangpokpi District.

He further said that last year mock test was conducted only at Motbung but expanded it at four different centres within the district.
