Employment Linked Career Guidance Programme held at DMU

The Campus Recruitment Cell (CRC), Dhanamanjuri University (DMU) in collaboration with Emporium Training & Consultancy Private Limited organised an Employment Linked Career Guidance Programme at DMU, Imphal on Monday.
The programme was graced by dignitaries, including Dr RK Joteen Singh, Registrar, DMU; Prof A Nabachandra Singh, Principal, DM College of Commerce, DMU; Prof M Bhubaneshwari Devi, Principal, DM College of Science, DMU and Dr Chithung Mary Thomas, Coordinator, Campus Recruitment Cell, DMU .
As part of the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Campus Recruitment Cell, DMU and Emporium Training & Consultancy Private Limited to enhance employment opportunities for students of DMU.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Chithung Mary stressed on the importance of Campus Recruitment Cell which serves as a bridge between potential employers and students.
She asserted that the CRC helps students develop skills and knowledge to prepare for the recruitment process.
She also shared that as per the mandate of the University Grants Commission, the CRC was established in DMU to facilitate the process of employers/companies hiring students directly from the university for job opportunities after graduation.
Anirban Mukherjee, Operations Manager, Emporium Training & Consultancy Private Limited said that the Employment Linked Career Guidance Programme was conducted especially for the educated unemployed youth of the State.
Expressing joy over the signing of the MoU, Anirban asserted that the MoU is a significant step towards empowering the students who will now have the opportunity to walk out with a job offer letter after graduation.
