MUSU organises fresher's meet

Imphal, February 16 2017: The fresher's meet of Manipur University was organised by Manipur University Students' Union at MU Centenary Hall today.

The event was graced by MU Vice-Chancellor Prof Adya Prasad Pandey, Prof RK Hemkumar, Principal MIT, Manipur, Prof Naorem Mohilal Singh, Dean, Student Welfare, Maibam Chourjit Singh, cultural coordinator, MU, Prof M Dhaneswor Singh and MUSU president Buchi Mayanglambam President as presidium members.

Speaking at the function, Prof Pandey urged the students work hard and meet their parents' expectation.

He said, "Every student should realise how he or she can contribute something for the growth of society, institution, State and Nation as a whole" .

Buchi Mayanglambam said that students should not only know their rights and duties but also question how much he or she has contributed for the betterment of society.
