Locals urge Government to repair Jiri College road

Jiribam, January 15 2022:
The people of Jiribam have expressed dissent over the deplorable condition of the road leading to Jiri College even after strict instructions from the Chief Minister to complete the road construction work.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh had earlier instructed the concerned work agency and department to complete the construction within 20 days during the "Go to Village 2.0" programme held on November 23 .

In this regard, K Manglem, a resident of Dibong Khunou expressed his anguish over the lackadaisical attitude of the work agency tasked with the repair of Dibong Khunou-Jiri College road and appealed to the Government to look into the matter at the earliest.
It may be mentioned that several civil bodies including Jiri College Students Union, JCSU and Yaifa Lamjing Clubs,YLC Dibong Khunou have also been urging the same to the Government.
