Pre-paid metre activation work begins in Kangpokpi

Imphal, February 14 2016: Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has began activation of pre-paid power metres for Kangpokpi town, our correspondent has reported.

According to MSPDCL authority, transformer wise ac- tivation of pre-paid metres in the town was set into motion from KT School transformer.

Five new transformers will be installed in the area to provide adequate power to the people, MSPDCL has as- sured.

DGM, Kangpokpi, in the meantime, has urged the pub- lic to consult with the authorities at ADC office for pre-paid connection.

He has requested the public to fully cooperate with the officials working for the activation of the pre-paid metres.

The DGM has also assured installation of 30 street lamps in the town soon.
