IGP CRPF visits CM N Biren

Imphal, July 13 2020:
Randeep Datta, PMG, IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF, Imphal called on Chief Minister N Biren Singh at the CM's office and greeted him with a Maple tree sapling on July 12, said IGAR (S) .
During the meeting, the IGP informed the Chief Minister that he joined the office of IGP (M&N) Sector on June 1, on transfer from CRPF Academy Grogram.
The IGP further informed that CRPF has planted 20,000 saplings in Manipur on that day as part of "Akhil Bharatiya Vriksharopan Abhiyan" which is being observed across the country.
CRPF has targeted to plant more than 22 lakh trees by July 27 (the day CRPF came into existence) and will continue to shoulder it's social responsibilities in Manipur along with ensuring internal security, he added.
The IGP then invited the Chief Minister for the CRPF Raising Day on July 27 and assured it will be following COVID-19 protocol.
Chief Minister N Biren acknowledged and appreciated the work of CRPF in Manipur as well as pan India.
Other important issues of CRPF were also discussed to which the Chief Minister listened patiently and promised all possible help for early resolution.
The IGP assured to rendering best services by the CRPF in Manipur in maintaining peace and tranquility in the State.
