Development of NE is top priority: Amit Shah

BJP President Amit Shah addressed the first ever convention of North East Democratic Alliance in Guwahati today.
Amit Shah said that development ofNorth East is the top priority of the Central Government.
Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that the people of Assam will always support North East Democratic Alliance.
While speaking at the first conclave of this Alliance in Guwahati, Sarbananda Sonowal said that North East has lagged behind due to insurgency.
NEDA is a platform of BJP and its nine regional alliance parties of the North East aimed at development of northeast.
Addressing the inaugural convention of the newly launched North East Democratic Alliance, Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju has said that the Modi Government is taking a number of steps to remove the feeling of alienation felt by the people of North East India and a booklet enumerating the steps will be released.
Kiren Rijiju also said that the Government is taking a number of steps for the development ofNorth East India and bring it at par with the rest of India.
