RK Ranjan assures library at Langol

Imphal, June 13 2019: Stating that promotion of digital libraries in the State will alleviate the problem of non-availability of text books to some extent, newly elected Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency MP Dr RK Ranjan assured that a library will be constructed at Langol.

Speaking as the chief guest in a felicitation function organized by Uripok Bachaspati Maning Leikai Development Association (UBMLDA) at its community Hall today to welcome him, Ranjan further underscored the importance of inculcating reading habit among the students and youth to grow the State.

"Without wisdom, one will never reach the appropriate place (goal) no matter how hard he or she works and how much money he/she has," he said encouraging youths to earn wisdom and knowledge through books and interaction with people and environment around them.

Commenting on the poll promises, Ranjan asserted that the BJP is a work oriented party and will deliver its promises.

The function was also attended by UBMLDA president Huirem Murali Meitei, BJP Manipur Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao convener L Lotika and L Minabanta Singh among others.

On the sideline of the event, Kangleipak Thoupang Lup submitted a memorandum to the MP urging him to withdraw the State Government's plan to shift Ram Krishna Private School at Tondonsana High School, Uripok.
