Imphal, June 12 2024: A College Level Symposium on the UN theme of World Environment Day 2024, "Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience" was organised at Manipur College, Imphal today.

The symposium was organised by Environment Club, Manipur College in collaboration with the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change, Government of Manipur.

It was attended by Dr S Banamali Devi, president, Manipur College Teachers Association; Dr W Shambhunath Singh, Principal, Manipur College and Dr Th Premita Devi, president, Environment Club, Manipur College.

The event began with the felicitation of dignitaries followed by a welcome address from Dr Th Premita Devi.

Students from different colleges participated in the symposium and prizes were distributed to the winners.

The event culminated with a vote of thanks proposed by N Bimorani Devi, Associate Professor, Manipur College.
