Kangpokpi Police introduce Police Idol

Kangpokpi, December 11 2019: Kangpokpi Police scripted another record in Manipur Police Department by becoming the first to introduce 'Police Idol' in the State.

The Kangpokpi Police Idol is a singing competition for the policemen of Kangpokpi.

The audition of the first Kangpokpi Police Idol held this afternoon at the Conference Hall of SP Office Kangpokpi was participated by personnel from various Police Stations of Kangpokpi District.

The grand finale of the competition will be held during the Advent Christmas celebration of Kangpokpi Police on December 14 .

The Fitness Club, as well as the Police Idol, was introduced by the District SP, Hemant Pandey.

Speaking to media persons, Hemant Pandey said that the competition aimed at providing a platform for the policemen of all ranks to expose their talent in singing apart from their active duty and responsibilities in maintaining law and order in the district.

Pandey was also well known and acclaimed for breaking a stereotype of ranks in the Police department and showing his down-to-earth attitude by serving food to his boys on every Independence Day celebration.

The participants of the first Kangpokpi Police Idol expressed gratitude to the SP Kangpokpi and Addl SP for providing them a platform to expose their talent by introducing the Police Idol.
