Entries called for 'Meme' competition

Imphal, December 10 2021: The Additional Director General (R) Imphal, namely Press Information Bureau (PIB) and Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB) Manipur, will organise a 'voter awareness meme competition for Manipur Assembly election 2022' .

The competition is being organised to generate and disseminate voters' education, spread voter awareness, promote voter literacy and to build a participative democracy through humorous memes, which are likely to appeal to younger sections of the electorate.

This is an open competition for all citizens and it is free of cost.

By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to abide by the competition rules and guidelines and to accept the jury's decision, which will be final.

The competition will be organised on the Topic/Communication messages through a meme containing either of the messages viz Register as a voter; Go out and vote; Your first vote will be a memorable moment; Every vote counts and Make sure that your voice is heard by voting.

All memes that cover topics on (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) will be accepted.

submitted in either Manipuri or English language to [email protected] from December 13 to December 17 .

The results will be announced on December 23 .

The competition carries a prize of Rs 10,000/-, Rs 7,000/- and Rs 5,000/- for the first, second and third prizes while all the participants will be issued 'Certificates of Participation' .
