Imphal, November 10 2014: A body was found at Thangapat at Sagolband Bijoy Govinda Thangapat early this morning while a hand grenade was found planted at the residential compound of a Cooperative Inspector at Wangkhem Bazar in Thoubal district.

The body of one Hijam Dolen alias Dolika (28) S/o Rajen of Nagamapal Lai Ishing Chaibi was found early this morning at Sagolband Govinda Thangapat.

Dolen has been running a beauty parlour at Tera Soyam Lirak.

He was said to have remained traceless since the past three days.

The body has been deposited at RIMS morgue.

Meanwhile, a hand grenade was found planted at the residential compound of one Wangkhem Sudhachandra (60) at Wangkhem bazar under Yairipok PS in Thoubal district this morning around 9.30 .

W Sudhachandra is a Cooperative Inspector.

Police later retrieved the grenade.
