Tengnoupal, September 10 2018:
The Kuki Student's Organization, Tengnoupal district has announced that heavy vehicle plying along Imphal-Moreh road of NH-102 is temporarily suspended from midnight of September 13 and will remain in force till the concerned authority repaired the damage portion of the road, said a statement of KSO.

The decision of the suspension of heavy vehicles (Tata Truck, Dipper, Tata DI, Saktiman etc) along the NH-102 was made for the best interest of the general public and will be strictly monitored by KSO volunteers, added the statement.
In the statement, KSO alleged that they have approached the authority concerned to repair the damage portion of the road but their pleas remained unheard till today and they were left with no choice other than resorting to suspension of movement of heavy vehicle along this route.
KSO further sought cooperation from the owners of the heavy vehicles and strictly followed the suspension order.
