Imphal, May 09 2016: Imphal Municipal Corporation (IMC) Ward Development Committee, Ward No 4 organised a zero garbage campaign as a part of Swachh Bharat Mission cum felicitation pro- gramme of Imphal Sporting Club (ISC), Khwai Brahmapur for being selected among the All India 32 Proactive Club/Resident Welfare Association at Khwai Brahmapur community hall, Uripok Machin.

The event was attended by L Nandakumar Singh, MLA of Uripok A/C as chief guest, Laimayum (O) Sorojini Devi, president of Khwai Brahmapur Women's Development Com- mittee as president, N Geetkumar, MAHUD Director, L Arunkumar Singh, Councillor of IMC Ward No 4, Ng Uttamkumar, MAHUD Joint Director and Laimayum Rojit Sharma, ex-secretary of Khwai Brahmapur Singlup cum Development Committee as guests of honour respectively.

As a part of the function, a tree plantation drive was carried out in front of the club and the surroundings of the community hall.

A cash reward of Rs 20,000 was handed over to the officials of ISC by MAHUD, conveyed a press release.
