PAAMEL Foundation donates relief items

Imphal, April 09 2022: PAAMEL Foundation, a charitable organisation which is an initiative of Babina Group of Companies donated relief items to BB Paul Mental Development Home at Mongshangei today.

The relief items which include mattress, tin roof, rice bag, sugar bag, plastic chairs, bed sheets etc were donated as a part of PAAMEL Foundation's corporate social responsibility program.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh said that the foundation is sponsored by the Classic Group of Hotels and its corporate social responsibility activities are carried out through the foundation.

He went on to state that the foundation aims to provide best possible support to the downtrodden and needy and will help them lead a normal life.

Informing that today's activity is the first activity of the foundation, he said that similar activities will be carried out every second Saturday at different places.

Headmistress of BB Paul Mental Development Home, Takhellambam Anita while speaking on the occasion expressed gratitude to PAAMEL Foundation for their generosity.

She also mentioned about the difficulties faced by the home though it has been absorbed by the Government fully especially during the pandemic.

She further elaborated on the continued efforts of the teachers and staff of the home who have been striving for the upliftment of the residents of the home who have intellectual disability.

The home is always ready to welcome new students, she added.
