Bishnupur, October 08 2017: International Association of Lions Club, Lions Club of Ningthoukhong and Lions Club International 322 D, organised a disrit level peace poster contest, under the theme ‘The Future of Peace’, at Mangolnganbi ollege, Ningthoukhong, today .

A total of 30 individuals, 20 males and 10 females, took part in the contest which was organised for children from the age of 11 to 13 years of Bishnupur district .

President, Lions Club of Ningthoukhong, Lion L Khomei Singh, Secretary, Lions Club of Ningthoukhong, Lion, Dr L Gopendro Singh, Programme Chairpersons, Lion, O Ibomcha Singh, Programme Member, Lion, S Mangol and Programme Member, Lion, M Jatikumar oversaw the participants in the competition .

Speaking to media persons, Lion L Khomei said that the contest is also organised by various clubs at their respective areas.

The winners of today’s contest and from various distrits, will be sent for competing in the international stage, he said, adding that the conest has been organsied with the aim of instilling the value of peace into the young minds.
