EMA Trust extends aid

Extending solidarity to the victims of recent Koutruk attack, the Egalitarian Manipur of the Altruists (EMA) Trust will be providing a monthly financial assistance of Rs 5000 each to the children of Late Ngangbam Surbala Devi of Phayeng Mauai Leikai, who was killed in the brutal attack by Kuki militants.
On September 6, the EMA Trust handed over a sum of Rs 5000 each to Ngangbam Rojia and Ngangbam Mahesh to support their education, said a release issued by EMA Trust.
EMA Trust had also extended a financial aid of Rs 20,000 to help the medical treatment of Ngangbam Rojia.
The monthly incentive of Rs 5000 each will be provided to the children of Late Ngangbam Surbala for a period of two years.
So far, EMA Trust has provided a monthly financial assistance of Rs 3000- Rs 8000 to 35 children affected by the ongoing conflict in the State.
Further, EMA Trust expressed hope that the people will continue to support the Trust in its endeavour to provide some relief to the children affected by the ongoing conflict.
