National awardees feted

Thoubal, January 08 2021: Palem Panthou Masaikol and Human Resource Multipurpose Organization, Wangjing felicitated organisations and persons who have been awarded in various fields at National level.

The programme held at the office premises of the Palem Panthou Masaikol at Wangjing felicitated Moirangthem Rajendro Singh of Tentha who was awarded Khorirolgi Athoiba Mapari 2020 by Dalit Sahitya Academy Manipur, Yumnam Mahendrakumar Singh who was given Thomas Hardy Ningshing Sahitya Mana 2020 by Sahitya Yokkhat Kanglup Tentha and Dalit Sahitya Academy Manipur's Dr BR Ambedkar National Award 2020 winners Khundrakpam Kamala Devi of Wangjing, Abujam Nongpok Ningthou Meitei of Wangbal, Nongthombam Nonglenkhomba Luwang of Wangjing.

Tongbram Babulal Singh of Wangjing who was awarded Moirangthem Ibotomba Ningshing Sahitya Sevok Mana 2020 by Khorirol Sandok Lup, Yumnam Babidkumar Mangang of Wangjing who was given Apoi Maichou Ningsing Mana 2020 by Dalit Sahitya Academy Manipur were also feted.

Covid-19 National Corona Warrior Award 2020 winners Socio Economic Development Organisation (SEDO), Hiyanglam and Volunteers of COVID-19, Kodompokpi Sports Complex were also feted.

The awards were given by Global Corona Warrior Award Committee India.

Khangabok AC MLA Okram Surjakumar Singh, THRMO president Soibam Mangijao Meitei, Sub-Deputy Collector (SDC) Heirok Longjam Ashakumar, IRE College Education Wangjing Principal Narengbam Rajivkumar Singh, Khorirol Sandok Lup Wangjing president Tongbram Babulal Singh and National & International Awardee Retd Teacher Tekcham Rameshwor Singh attended the event as presidium members.
