Imphal, January 07 2022:
Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has strongly condemned the alleged job recruitment carried out without following proper rules and regulations under Chairman, Manipur Pollution Control Board (MPCB) and Oinam MLA L Radhakishore.
In a statement, KSA informed that in May, June and October of 2018 and towards the end of 2021, recruitment were carried out for 55 and 52 posts respectively, in MPCB where some of these posts didn't even exist.
KSA has deemed these job appointments which did not follow any regulations as an act of authoritarianism.
Calling this a blatant display of corruption by those who claim to be leaders of the State, KSA also condemned the lack of action from bureaucrats, officials and the Minister concerned who simply seem keen on burying the issue.
As such, KSA has urged the authorities concerned to terminate L Radhakishore from the Chairmanship (MPCB), urged for a notification for a high level impartial inquiry into the matter and overall to bring justice.
Further, KSA also cautioned that the student body will resort to launching agitations if their demands are not heeded.
