EDDIHA urges for appointment

Imphal, November 05 2016: Electricity Department Die-in-Harness Association (EDDIHA) has urged the Chief Minister and all the authorities concerned to appoint the applicants who have applied for appointment under the die-in-harness scheme before the department was corporatised some years back.

In a statement, the association informed that the total number of applicants beofre the corporatization is 356 .

Stating that many grade-III and IV posts are lying vacant at the department and around 350 applicants could be enrolled under the 20% staff appointment norms of die-in-harness scheme, the association asked to absorb all the 356 applicants at the earliest.
