Imphal, August 04 2021: Expressing disappointment over the decision of Waikhomani College authorities to discontinue the Class XI and XII of both Arts and Science stream from this year onwards, All Manipur Students Union (AMSU), Thoubal District Committee earnestly appealed to all concerned to reconsider the decision in the interest of the girl students of the Thoubal side.

In a press release, the student body said that the college is an eminent girl's college in the Thoubal area and stated that such a decision is really unfortunate for the girl students of Thoubal area especially at a time when everyone have been impacted badly by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore in the larger interest of the girl students, the student body urged all concerned to continue taking students for Class XI and XII in the college for a better and secured future.
