Imphal, June 04 2020: DGP LM Khaute has suspended two police officers, Inspector Sh Chandrakumar Singh, Officer-in-Charge, Tulihal Airport Police Station and Inspector Rishikesh Sharma of CID (Security) for dereliction of duty.

In separate orders released on June 2, the DGP stated that two former Officer-in-Charge, NAB PS, have been suspended and departmental enquiries have been initiated against them.

During the period of suspension, the headquarters of Inspector Sh Chandrakumar will be Reserve Line, Imphal West, and the latter should not leave the headquarters without obtaining prior permission from the competent authority, an order said.

Meanwhile, another order stated that the headquarters of Inspector B Rishikesh Sharma of CID (Security) during the period of suspension will be the office of the Superintendent of Police, CID, Security, Manipur and he should too not leave the headquarters without obtaining prior permission from competent authority.

The two orders also further maintained that the two officers will be entitled to subsistence allowances admissible under rules during the period of suspension.
