CRPF continues Civic Action Programmes across State

The CRPF under the aegis of Dr Vipul Kumar, IPS, IG Manipur & Nagaland sector, conducted a series of Civic Action Programme across the State today.
The CRPF 120 Bn under the supervision of Rajeev Lochan, Commandant 120 Bn, Old Lambulane, Imphal West organized a Civic Action Programme at New Keithelmanbi village relief camp.
During the programme, the unit distributed blankets, water storage tanks and sports items to the residents of New Keithelmanbi relief camp.
After this, a cultural programme was also held organized by the villagers.
The Commandant 120 Bn distributed prizes to the cultural programme participants.
The villagers expressed their gratitude to the CRPF for organising such a programme for the local community.
The programme was attended by officers and men of G/120 Bn CRPF, the village chief, and approximately 200 villagers.
Similar initiative was also held at the Social Integrity Boys Association (SIBA) ground located at Heingang Awang Leikai, Imphal East organized by 69 Bn, CRPF Mantripukhri.
In this programme, various sports items and sports wear were distributed to the players of the association.
The event was attended by Harji Lal Bairwa, 2-I/C, Yogendra Kumar Misra, Dy Commandant, Th Shyam, president of SIBA, Th Shyamjai, secretary and other dignitaries of association, villagers and players.
Meanwhile 32 Bn CRPF also conducted a Civic Action Programme today at Zeikhuluang Tokpa Kabui Community Hall, Tokpa, under the AOR of D/32 Bn, CRPF, Awang bazar, under Loktak PS, Churachandpur district.
The programme was attended by Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant 32 Bn, officers and jawans of 32 Bn and local populace of Tokpa village.
New Cannan, Louchungbung and Kha Aimol.
The Commandant distributed water storage tanks 500 Itr cap, flexible water hose pipe and various sports items to the people.
The socially productive work undertaken by 32 Bn CRPF, Loktak was appreciated by the villagers and village chief.
The 30 Bn CRPF, S Saheibung also conducted Civic Action Programme today at Haibung, Sinam Kaithong and T Mangjol villages under New Keithelmanbi PS, Kangpokpi district.
During the event, items such as water storage tanks (Sintex), woolen blankets, rechargeable solar LED lights and rechargeable LED torchlights were distributed to the villagers.
The program was attended by Samir Ahmed, Addl SP Kangpokpi, Mahendra Singh, 2-I/C 30 Bn, Jeetender Kumar 2-I/C, Assistant Commandants, Ravi Chettri, Subodh Kumar, Sunil Kumar Tomar, Ashok Kumar, and Dr Neeraj, Medical Officer, 30 Bn along with the chief of the villages.
The villagers expressed immense happiness and gratitude to the CRPF for organising such initiative in the village.
