Imphal, March 03 2017:
Zeliangrong Unite Front (ZUF) has rubbished the allegations levelled against the outfit by Lok Janshakti Party (LJP).
Stating that ZUF did not indulged in removal of LJP flags as alleged, the outfit said that it neither forced Taosang and Leishok village authorities and some LJP workers of Khoupum area to append their signatures to vote for BJP nor abducted LJP workers.
The statement said that apart from boycotting INC candidates in Zeliangrong areas and Nungba AC for anti-Zeliangrong activities, ZUF has not boycotted other political candidates.
ZUF, in the statement, also condemned the attack by the Indian army (Gorkha Regiment) on Zeliangrong Tiger Force (ZTF) at Khoupum Valley on February 28 where shooting and bombing indiscriminately were carried out by the Indian army without considering the sentiments of the peace loving Zeliangrong people of Khoupum area.
