Imphal, April 01 2021: Chief Minister N Biren Singh today handed over laptops to officers of the State Government at a function held at the Chief Minister's Secretariat.

The laptops were distributed to officers below the level of Secretary for e-office rollout in the Secretariat.

Appreciating the senior officials of the State Government on the successful commencement of e-office, N Biren Singh stated that the rollout of e-office would speed up movement of files and help in maintaining transparency.

This would also make tracking of files easier, he added.

Stating that the State has vast human resources, he expressed belief that the State can develop and achieve success in any field with the co-ordination and support of Government officials and the people.

GAD Minister Vungzagin Valte, Chief Secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar and Principal Secretary V Vumlunmang among others attended the function.
