CRPF organises blood donation camp

Imphal, July 31 2024: 143 Battalion, CRPF, Lamphelpat, Imphal successfully organised a blood donation camp in association with Blood Bank Department RIMS, Imphal on Wednesday.

At the event Dr K Raj Chandra, Head, Department of Blood Bank, RIMS, emphasized how a unit of blood saves many lives and urged all to come forward and donate blood.

He also thanked the 143 Battalion for this noble cause and expressed hope that the Battalion will continue its humanitarian endeavours in the future.

Ravinder Shanna, Commandant 143 Bn CRPF, thanked the Blood Bank Department RIMS, for giving a helping hand in organising the camp.

Altogether, 35 personnel of 143 Bn CRPF donated their blood during the camp.
