WMC Tripura celebrates Foundation day by extending donation to underprivileged

Jiribam, December 30 2024: The World Meetei Council, WMC Tripura Unit marked its first anniversary by distributing 60 blankets and 46 pairs of socks to underprivileged families, elderly individuals, and children in need.

The initiative provided warmth and comfort to families and senior citizens (aged 60-70) during winter while supporting children's health with socks distribution.

"This milestone reflects our commitment to community service," said Mutum Amit Sinha, General Secretary, World Meetei Council Tripura Unit, thanking donors and volunteers for their support.

The World Meetei Council Tripura Unit stated that it will remain dedicated to promoting social welfare and uplifting the community.
