Thoubal, December 29 2020: While maintaining the SOPs of Covid-19, the Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign Committee in collaboration with Fathersland Patriots Memorial Club, Khongjom conducted an awareness generation programme at Eureka High School Khongjom in Thoubal district, today.

The Awareness programme was attended by A Kameshwar Singh, DSWO Thoubal; Sapam Rajendro Singh president Fathersland Patriots Memorial club, Khongjom; Y Lakshman Singh member NMBCC Thoubal; Mandir Laishram, secretary SDO and S Ruhini Devi president Khongjom Maira Paibi as presidium members.

Addressing the programme, Mandir Laishram stated that instead of working hard to become a strong pillar of the society, youngsters are continuously falling into the clutches of drugs.

In order to save them from drug addiction, the Fathersland Patriots Memorial club, Khongjom is working to develop good football players in the area.

A Kameshwar singh, DSWO Thoubal mentioned the need to change the parenting ways in order to prevent drug abuse and also encourage the youths to work hard to excel in their areas of interest like sports.

Y Lakshman Singh, member of NMBCC, Thoubal spoke on the importance of health for the youth and encouraged them to say No to drugs.

Thangjam Bidyabati Devi, Meira Paibi member also stated that parents should not try to hide their children who are addicted to drugs.
