Senapati, October 29 2016: Thadou Inpi constitution book and souvenir and video of Thadou Cultural Festival 2016 were released and dedicated at Leikot village in Sadar Hills today, our correspondent reports.

The dedication ceremony was attended by ADC Sadar Hills Chairman Haokholal Hangshing; Vice Chairman Thangjakam Misao and YT James Haokip, president Thadou Inpi-GHqs chief guest, guest of honour and functional president respectively.

Reverend LB Angam, M Th Executive Member, ECA was the dedicating minister.

Speaking at the function, ADC Sadar Hills Chairman lauded the drafting committee of Thadou Inpi Constitution for their tireless effort in bringing together the book for the welfare of the Thadou community.

The Constitution book will be a key factor for revival of the Thadou community, he said.

He further encouraged Thadou Inpi to become an agent of unity among the Thadou community.

UPF vice chairman SS Haokip, who is also the chairman of United Kuki Liberation Front, encourages Thadou Inpi to work for the development and progress of Thadou community in the State.

Earlier, the ADC Sadar Hills Chairman released the Thadou Inpi Constitution book, Thadou Cultural Festival souvenir and video in the presence of Vice Chairman, Thangjakam Misao, YT James Haokip, Thadou Inpi-GHqs president and other dignitaries.

Later, the constitution book and TCF souvenir and video were dedicated by the minister.
